Utility and telephone connections are located in floor ports. Two escalators connect the Michigan Exhibit Hall with Wayne Hall above.

Additional Features:

Floor boxes with electricity, water/drainage, telephone and compressed air are located primarily on a 30' x 30' grid.
The Michigan Hall floor has a floor-loading capacity of 650 lb. per sq. ft.
Truck access to Michigan Hall is through a service corridor.
Largest truck door for Michigan Hall is 13'6" wide x 17' high.

Exhibit Hall Additional Features:

Floor boxes with electricity, water/ drainage, telephone and compressed air are located primarily on a 30' x 30' grid. The street level exhibit halls are serviced by a total of 27 loading docks. Each exhibit hall has dedicated loading docks. In addition, each exhibit hall contains drive-in ramps. The majority of the exhibit floor has a live load capacity of 300 lb. per sq. ft. Please ask for a detailed floor plan for areas above and below this capacity. Largest truck door for each exhibit hall is as follows:
• Wayne—16’w x 16’h.
• Oakland—18’w x 20’h
• Macomb—16’w x 20’h
• Detroit—16'w x 20'h

Cobo Center Amenities Include:

  • Wired Internet access available in all meeting rooms
  • People Mover station inside Cobo providing easy access to many hotels and attractions in the downtown area
  • 16 sets of escalators located throughout the building to conveniently move attendees from the major function space on the main level to the meeting room levels on the lower, second and third floors
  • Cobo Hospitality, located in the main-level Atrium, provides attendees and exhibitors with helpful services such as restaurant reservations, visitor information, shipping and supplies, as well as arranging for airport shuttling
  • Food establishments include a permanent restaurant, a sandwich/ pizza stand and a snack store all inside Cobo; plus numerous restaurants in the downtown area within walking distance

Get Detailed Directions

From the north via I-75 (Chrysler Freeway)

  • Take I-375 south, exit at westbound Jefferson. Proceed down Jefferson to Cobo Center straight ahead. Stay right to avoid going onto freeway.
  • To park in Cobo Center Garage: Cross Washington Blvd. into garage entrance.
  • To park on Cobo Center Roof: Turn right on Washington Blvd. Go two blocks, then left on Congress. Stay right to avoid going onto freeway. Past Second St., turn left into Cobo Roof Parking

From downriver via I-75 (Chrysler Freeway)

  • Exit at M-10 (Lodge Freeway) south, following signs to Civic / Cobo Center.
  • To park in Cobo Center Garage: Exit (left exit) at Larned Street. At stop light, turn right on Washington Blvd., then right into garage entrance.
  • To park on Cobo Center Roof: Exit at Howard Street and proceed straight until third stop light. Turn left on Fort Street for one block. Turn right on Third Street. Road curves to left, then turn right into Cobo Roof Parking

From the west via I-96 (Jeffries Freeway)

  • Exit at M-10 (Lodge Freeway) south, following signs to Civic / Cobo Center and following directions above.

From I-94 (Ford Freeway)

  • Take either I-75 or I-96 off of I-94 and follow directions above.
