Tom Albrecht - Director of Sales
Tom returned to his hometown of Detroit, from New York City, for the opportunity of leading the Cobo Center sales team. He has over 25 years experience in convention, conference and meetings sales. This ranges from working at the Detroit Metro CVB, Ritz-Carlton Hotels, and Shanty Creek Resorts. Tom works key accounts.
David Austin - Senior Sales Manager
Dave has been in sales at Cobo Center for over 8 years. Previously he has worked in motor sports and minor league baseball. Dave manages state and national association, government and corporate accounts, and works closely with the Detroit Metro CVB.
Constance Wilson - Sales Manager
Constance was promoted to the sales team from Events Services at Cobo Center. She has previously worked in special events for the Mayor’s Office and at the Detroit Opera House. Constance works primarily local and state business, including association, government and corporate accounts.
Jennifer Berkemeier - Sales Manager
Jennifer joined Cobo Center's sales team in November of 2011, coming from The Fillmore Theatre/Live Nation Entertainment with thirteen years of experience in venue management and live entertainment. She sells catered events including weddings, banquets, galas, fundraisers, corporate events and holiday parties, specifically for the new ballroom currently being built in the Cobo Arena.

Cobo Center is already booking dates for the Grand Ballroom, now under construction and available June 2013. The Cobo Arena, once a premier sports and entertainment venue, will find new life in June as the Grand Ballroom, the region's newest banquet and event space. Equipped with a hydraulic lift stage for dramatic introductions, the arena will become a 40,000 square-foot ballroom, dividable with a retractable wall and complemented by glass-enclosed, pre-function space and an open-air terrace overlooking the Detroit River and the skyline of Windsor, Ontario. The new ballroom will have a 3600 theater seating capacity or 2,500 banquet seating. Used for banquets, weddings, award ceremonies, dinners, political conventions, media presentations and myriad other functions, the new Cobo Center Grand Ballroom undoubtedly enhances the events they hold.
